Every message contains an unsubscribe link. You may also send an unsubscribe request to mhppacific@mhppacific.ca; we will process it within 10 business days.
6. To whom we disclose personal information
We may disclose your personal information to:
6.1. Companies of the MHP Group — including MHP SE and affiliated companies located in Ukraine, the European Union and the United Kingdom — where necessary for the purposes set out in section 4 (for example, where a commercial enquiry concerns a product supplied by another company of the Group).
6.2. Service providers who act on our instructions and on our behalf:
- website hosting and technical support providers;
- providers of e-mail and corporate communication services;
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) — for analytics purposes;

Service providers have access to personal information only to the extent necessary to perform their tasks and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6.3. Public authorities — where we are required to do so by law, court order or a lawful request from a regulator.
6.4. Successors in title — in the event of a reorganisation, merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with prior notice to you where required by law.
7. International transfers
MHP Pacific operates in Canada, but our Group and our service providers are located in other countries. Your personal information may therefore be transferred to and stored in:
- Ukraine — the location of the MHP Group’s head office and shared functions;
- the European Union and the United Kingdom — the location of MHP Group companies (the Netherlands, the United Kingdom);
- the United States — the location of the servers of certain technology providers, including Google.
Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in Canada. Where such a transfer occurs, we take appropriate safeguards: contractual clauses on the protection of personal information, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (where the GDPR applies), and technical and organisational security measures.
Please note that while your information is located in another jurisdiction, it may be accessible to the courts and public authorities of that country in accordance with its laws.
8. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- enquiries through the form that did not lead to cooperation — up to [24 months] from the date of the last communication;
- information about active partners and counterparties — for the term of the contract plus the period required by tax and accounting legislation of Canada (as a rule, 6 years after the end of the relevant tax year);
- business correspondence — up to [3 years] from the date of the last message;
- analytics data in Google Analytics — [14 months];
- server log files — up to 12 months.
Once these periods expire, information is deleted or anonymised.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure: data transmission over the Website is encrypted (HTTPS), access to information is granted on a need-to-know basis, employees are bound by confidentiality obligations, and technical protection of systems is in place.
At the same time, no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator in accordance with the requirements of PIPEDA.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights:
- access — to obtain confirmation as to whether we hold your personal information and to receive a copy of it;
- correction — to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
- withdrawal of consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
- deletion — to request the erasure of information where there is no lawful basis for retaining it;
- restriction of processing and objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
- portability — to receive information in a structured, machine-readable format (where the GDPR or Quebec Law 25 applies);
- complaint — to a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, please write to mhppacific@mhppacific.ca. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity before providing information.
In certain cases we may lawfully refuse a request in whole or in part (for example, where compliance would disclose information about another person or would breach legal professional privilege). In such a case we will explain the reason.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with:
- Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada — www.priv.gc.ca
- Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec — www.cai.gouv.qc.ca (if you are located in Quebec)
- the supervisory authority of your country of residence, if the law of that country applies to you.
11. Children
The Website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about persons under 16 years of age. If you become aware that a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
